Police verification for tatkaal

I applied for a passport renewal as the current one is expiring in the next 3-4 months and I have to travel in next 1 week. Now, I’ve received my passport but the police verification is still pending. Police verification might take sometime as my file is still not received at the registered police station. Will I still be eligible to travel without police verification?

Per my understaning even for Tatkal passport they do advance verification not sure why in your case it was not done atleast in my state Telangana

Not sure of this. Maybe because I received the passport in just 1 day after the appointment date? But is it okay to travel without the verification?
