April 24, 2025 at 3:40 pmHi everyone,I’m posting on behalf of a friend who is facing a serious issue with their previous employer.
My friend resigned from their job in January 2025. It’s now been over 3 months, and the final salary has still not been cleared. Initially, the employer responded saying they needed some time, and out of respect, my friend waited patiently without escalating the issue. However, despite multiple follow-ups via calls and messages, the employer has now completely stopped responding. Strangely, she remains active on social media, so it’s not a case of her being unavailable.
Recently, she responded with voice notes saying she is “not obligated to pay” and that those who’ve left the company are “secondary.” She explicitly stated that pending salaries are not her priority and even suggested my friend could wait indefinitely. There are voice recordings and message proofs of all communications.
Even more concerning is that she later threatened to come to my friend’s house and mentioned she would “take legal action” because one of her voice notes was shared publicly. This seems like an intimidation tactic, especially since my friend’s only “offense” was requesting the salary that was promised and rightfully earned.
My friend doesn’t want to harm the brand or reveal the company name publicly right now, but just wants the dues cleared.
