Alr guys so this is going to be a paragraph with no punctuations as i’m really not in the best mood Alr so that being said let’s get to the main part which is me getting bullied like crazy in a certain reputed law university in delhi for not being able to speak hindi fluently (for context ; i’m from pune and mai hindi bolta hu par again vo marathi accent is quite obvious) This has been going on since first year and my marathi friends experience the same the same thing happens to south indians as well but they are more in number so they fight back but we marathis are like 2 or 3 in the entire batch and one of em is a woman as well who does not get bullied but participates in the bullying thing with em delhi folks Toh m bas ye jaan na chata hu ki ye h kya apne country ka unity ? is this what we call “unity in diversity” l constantly feel targeted and any sort of advice would be greatly appreciated plus i might get into sls pune this year so it’s not like ill be here for long but still the experience was so bad and honestly i wasn’t expecting such a toxic welcome from the so called “delhi ke bkl”

yeah man i mean i’m numb towards the slurrs now but it’s like when majority of people bully u even the people in the class who u have no beef with also tend to start seeing u in an inferior way. Like when i go up to other people in my they basically ignore me and this is def not what i want my college life to be like

That’s sad tbh I’ve been living here in Maharashtra for quite some time and have never experienced discrimination/ alienation from locals just because I can’t speak fluent marathi. They’re open to converse In other languages without making fun or putting someone else down, but whatever what can we expect from delhi🤷

man we marathis never discriminate anyone to us it dosent matter if ur from north or south india to us all of yall are indians and i’m glad to hear that ur having a nice time in MH ps my unis anti ragging committee is a joke they ask u to put up w it brushing off ur complaints as jokes
