January 26, 2025 at 1:04 pmI helped my friend out in Bangalore by connecting her to my distant family members who work in real estate. Her family and her liked an apartment and all the documents were ready but 3 days before the property registration my relatives cancelled saying they got a 20L higher offer for the same apartment and they are cancelling the deal with her. The girlโs parents have taken a loan and have already paid a month of interest since the registration kept getting delayed for reasons given by the sellers. My friend is upset and I feel partly responsible as I introduced her to these folks. Itโs not just the house they lost but the interest and document money and so much time into this process as well. Is there any legal action she can take?

January 26, 2025 at 1:32 pmNever mediate in such situations. All you have to do is make A meet B. What A and B does after that is none of your concern. If your consicence is troubling you call your relative and ask them to pay compensation-

OP
January 26, 2025 at 2:06 pmThey arenโt willing to pay anything, they are just focused on the higher offer. Thatโs why I was looking for legal help that my friend could use.
