Received a Recovery Email from Reliance how to proceed?

So apparently my sister received a recovery email for Rs.17k from the company where she worked for few days and then left.

It was July 2022 when she joined but left after few days, now in January 2025 she received an Email regarding the recovery which states that she is liable to pay 17k to the company and failing to do so will result in legal proceedings against her.

What shall be done in this situation? what does recovery letter 1 means are there more after this? Is there any way out from this situation. Please guide me

What reasons have they stated for demanding the said amount. What is the recovery for? Was a blank cheque etc given?

No, its because she left in middle without notice period.
