Received an unknown text message, should I be worried?

It came from an unknown number through SMS telling me to be present for an hearing at this BDO office at such and such date and time with parents’ details. Should I just ignore it?

The number is like +91 XXXXX XXXXX, not like for eg. EG-NRV, which arouses suspicion

Absolutely ignore it. Any legal notice comes in writing and not an sms

I don’t know. When challana are issued electronically now. I would rather enquire with the office as it seems Govt establishment

Na bhai ignore it. Rule of thumb if someone tries to scare u online dont bother
