Hi, we received the court order asking the photographer who screwed our wedding photography job to return all the money + damages by the district consumer court.

What should we do next? How can we enforce it? The photographer has been ex-parte, and we don’t know where they are.

In the order it says 45 days of right of appeal and then 45 days to return the money.

I have also seen some news articles of this type of stories. How do people get such stories?

Also a word of caution for anyone hiring photographers in India, be very careful who you are hiring. A lot of these folks have terrible work ethics and behavior.

          Supreme Court advocate here:

What you’ve submitted isn’t really clear. I am assuming that you’re the complainant in this case, where you filed the case against the photographer for deficiency of service, and won. Correct?

If so, you have to wait for the stipulated time to elapse and then file an execution petition.

Meanwhile, try to locate the photographer if you can. You don’t need to do this (not legally, anyway) but it wouldn’t hurt.
