Relatives threatening for property.

My relative is a NRI and has some properties in Chennai.
Her brother in law keeps threatening her that some of the land is his and says a surveyor needs to check it again or she should sell to him.
He’s a POS and keeps torturing her after her husband passed away. I’m pissed off since I don’t know how to help them out.
The property is in her and her husband’s name only.
Can someone please tell me what can be done to help them? I just feel so bad because that guy has so much money, all his kids are settled what more dies he want? Like he’s 60 why the greed for someone else’s hard earned money

I want legal options as well, he keeps telling
“Godha la eranguven” (meaning he will go to any extent) and threatening them. He says he knows cops etc too.
Honestly that guy deserves to be punished by law for just threatening!

Get a permanent injection on him and his children with title decree on your nri relative. Takes time but worth it.

Immediately contact a lawyer. File a civil suit against the brother in law. You can get an injunction against him from interfering in your property or from even contacting you.
