May 6, 2025 at 11:22 amHey everyone,
I recently returned a Samsung Galaxy S24 Plus I bought from a third-party seller on Amazon India. The phone was listed as new, but I later found out from Samsung that it had already been activated in February 2025—so clearly not new.I filed a return request, and today I handed the phone over to the pickup guy. But even after giving it to him, the Amazon tracking still shows Pickup not done.
I called the pickup person and he said he has to reach the warehouse and go through some checks before the status gets updated. That sounds reasonable, but it’s been a while and I’m getting anxious—especially after already feeling scammed with the “new” phone being used.
Has anyone else experienced this kind of delay in pickup status updates? Is this normal, or should I be concerned? I’ve already filed a consumer court complaint too, just in case.
Any advice or similar experiences would really help. Thanks!

May 6, 2025 at 11:25 amKindly visit the delivery office if the status is not updated by evening. The same issue happened to me—they didn’t update the status and marked it as “customer unavailable” to return the product. Don’t take the risk.-

May 6, 2025 at 11:28 amAs an electronic device—and such an expensive phone at that—delivery personnel don’t take the risk of checking it themselves. They take it to the hub, where a supervisor inspects it further before marking it as returned-
