January 21, 2025 at 3:03 pmI opted for fiitjees 2 year classroom programme last year hoping to get good teachers. Day before yesterday our teachers messaged hs that they have left fiitjee because of salary issues(they weren’t not getting paid) and now the classes are taken by substitutes ( which you know isn’t good at all for iit jee like exams). Like they all the star and good teachers have left the coaching and our money( approx 3 lakhs per student, and there are atleast 900 students in this kalu sarai centre alone). This isn’t happening with this centre only all of the branches have faced this in the alatt one week(noida west delhi patna faridabad). At the time of payment we agreed to the t and c Obv hoping that ki atleast ye main branch hai kuch saalo mein girega.kalu sarai centre has now bouncers at its gate to not let ppl ask for money.Dk goel who is the owner of fiitjee was abusing the teachers (vid is there on yt) and my sir said ki bacchon ki kami nahi hai and there is some middleman who is the one responsible for all of this mess.
1) Am I allowed to ask for my fees back?
2) why isn’t the media covering this?
1000s of students are suffering bcs of this shitty company and dumbass dk(dk fuck u)
Many parents have already formed a group for the fees issue and I think they have some unity.
Pls give any advices -

January 21, 2025 at 3:27 pmDo your T&C say that you will be taught by specific teachers by name? It’s becoming a habit to just call everything a scam.-

January 21, 2025 at 3:29 pmSame happened in all of Mumbai centres, one of the centre’s parents filed an FIR for the same issue and have described the very details about this fraud. Dk if the police will take any action against the management of FIITJEE(arrest them). All the teachers left FIITJEE and a few of them collectively joined another not so popular coaching institute nearby.
They gave 2 options if the students wanted to continue with FIITJEE:
1. Join FIITJEE online learning program.
2. Shift to any of the hostel centres of FIITJEE.
Or
3. Fill the refund form (they had no guarantee if refund will be provided)Many of the parents believe that the teachers have also done some fraud due to discrepancies in fee collection system of that particular centre.
Most of the students had no option but to join other coaching institute (many have joined allen and the same no. of students joined the not so popular institute- went with the teachers)
My opinion-
If you don’t want to waste your prep time, get other institutes to make separate batch for you guys.
You will have to pay a good amount of fees for the new institute too(approx 1.5L).Good luck ๐ค

Firstly sending them a legal notice and then filing a consumer case be really helpful.
Following this file a police complaint for cheating and fraud.
Also write representation to the education minister and ministry of child and women welfare.
This should be enough to get your work done. If you guys need help feel free to reach out. We can fight against this injustice and chrony capitalism, together.
