Scammer ready to payback, but how to withdraw complaint?

Hi. On 14th, I had sent Rs 3500 to someone pretending to sell something legitimately. After 2 days, I found it was a fraud case, hence registered a complaint with my bank, and cyber crime.

Now, the money is on hold in the scammer’s account. He called me up and said, if I could withdraw the complaint, he will transfer the money immediately. He does look trustable as he provided me with his bank statements, aadhar card etc. I’m unable to withdraw the complaint online and the 1903 told me to go to the Police Station. WIll the Police ask for a court order to withdraw complaint? What can be done here? Please let me know.

No. Online complaint. Based on that itself amount was held in a day.

No fir was registered, so I don’t need to go to the court right?

Not to high court for sure then. But I don’t think you’ll have to go to the lower court also since the matter wouldn’t have gone to the magistrate as of yet. You’ll know the exact formalities once you’re at the Police station.

Now that he is a vulnerable position demand double the amount from him & then agree to withdraw the complaint or else let it stay that way 🤣🤣🤣
