UThis happened yesterday. I’m feeling absolutely confused and guilty.
I’m 29F and I sometimes explore porn online at night.While scouring some sites, I came across a platform where videos were being posted. A couple of days went by, and yesterday night, while looking at the latest uploads (usually reposted from other sources), I came across a video of a guy I know.
We’ve worked together before, so I mostly know him in a professional capacity, though we’ve also interacted socially at some mutual friends’ events. The video shows him recording himself in a very private and intimate setting. Based on the nature of it, I’m certain he didn’t consent for it to be posted.
I’ve requested the person who shared it to take it down and asked about the source. They said it was reposted from another platform and didn’t seem to care much about the harm it could cause. I saved screenshots of the conversation and relevant details, in case they are needed for legal purposes.
I really want to reach out to him and inform him, but I’m conflicted because:
1. I don’t want to make him feel violated or embarrassed because I saw it.
2. I feel guilty, as if my browsing habits contributed to his victimization.
3. I fear that by informing him, I might add to his distress, but staying silent feels equally wrong.
What should I do? How do I fix this? Please help me find the right way forward.

UIt’s true. I consumed a lot of porn but suddenly saw a male colleague’s video. I know a similar story happened with a guy too. What am I supposed to do if I find a male colleague’s video? Shall I tell him?
