February 25, 2025 at 10:54 pmI made a OBC NCL certificate in 2022
My father’s salary was under 8 lakh
Last year I renewed it as I wrote some exam and father’s salary was still under 8 lakh
I have now taken a drop to appear for the exam again and also my father’s SALARY has increased to 8+ lpa(No additional income).
So the question is
My Father works In a private Company as an engineer and there are no other sources of income.
Am I still eligible for The NCL certificate as rules states that Income is not clubbed for people in private institute or did I read it wrong
PLEASE HELP THIS IS URGENT ππΎ

February 26, 2025 at 6:21 pmAs far as I know most govt exams ask for an OBC NCL certificate which is not more than a year old. They usually mention it in the exam notification pdf that the certificate must be issued after a certain date which is usually 6 months to a year before the date of exam.So your existing OBC NCL is valid unless the exam youβre going to write requires a very recently issued certificate. In that case, you will have to make a new certificate for which you might not be eligible as your fatherβs yearly income has increased.
