WDisclaimer: I am new to Reddit and not sure where to post this, but I need your advice on this matter.
There is a building at the entrance of the alley where my house is located. The owner has deliberately placed images of Hindu deities on the walls to discourage people from urinating or spitting masala. However, despite this, people continue to do so.
I have spoken to the tenants of the building, asking them to bring this issue to the owner’s attention, but they claimed they couldn’t do anything about it.
It genuinely upsets me to see images of our deities being used this way. I would really appreciate any advice on how to handle this situation.

IThere is nothing to handle, because there is no situation at all. If it matters, people who spit on images of deities are committing a sin, not you. Probably the owner too. Moreover, the deities have enough power to control everything; people are spitting on their images because they want so — if that comforts you.
Life’s too short to think about these. Just offer your prayers and move on.
