Obviously this is just mere speculation but you get the idea. No matter how strong the bond, if you are not independent financially, you do not have much choice.

UWe’ll technically you have to be 18 to be on WhatsApp, a case can be made that the parents tried to entrap you by buying the minor a sim card because she can’t buy one if she’s not 18. Pay a good lawyer, get out of jail free, maybe get the parents to pay you something to settle even

UYup you can face harrassment from cops. And also actual criminal charges.
Since you’re in different cities it makes her parents bolder in contacting cops, the cops may or may not pursue depending on their own personal motivations.
Incase cops contact you – don’t be rude, be polite, don’t straight up ask them for bribe.

ANothing will happen. She is an adult and she should handle it on her own. If she needs your help then she will ask you and you can help her out. No point in overthinking. If she is unable to settle it with her parents and not fight to keep you then you know your answer. All you can do is help her when she asks for help and just be there so that she can figure out what can be done.

UNothing will happen trust me; Indian dads with their speech of 5 page till his daughter doesn’t feel guilty and dies with the guilt of all she does. And after sometime everything will be normal again she would talk to you or some random guy. There will be no case as you were in a long distance not minor anymore and if she was replying means she was enjoying it too.
