I caught up with a girl profile in Instagram few months ago!
It seemed genuine, we had a talk, it became frequent! Later we started to sexting(yes I did that)
She only asked about my experiences and not shared her’s. I suspected but didn’t do anything!
Later I sent video that included nudity with my face(this is where I fucked up)
And last Friday, the id shared a message that I got busted, they have my mobile number, and two of my family’s mobile number, if I didn’t send 10k to a number, they said they gonna share everything to th and to my insta followers as well!
I replied to hold them off, as I was low on funds and gathering from friends!
Then I immediately filed a online complaint on cyber crime portal and went to my city branch and given a physical complaint as addition to the online one!
As the instagram account started to message my followers to ask me to reply to her, I put on a story stating that ‘this is a fake id trying to scam me, don’t accept any follow requests and message requests , do block and report them’
Many friends messaged me that she gave a follow request but they blocked and reported!
I immediately went out of all social media, except instagram(made to private, removed all suspectful followers), restricted that account but didn’t block her!
Asked instagram to report the id too!
I didn’t pay anything, but the thing is she is still giving requests to my followers ( i already removed her from my followers list)
Any suggestions what should I do next?
And I won’t repeat this same mistake again!! 😭 -

UUnder any condition do not pay.
Remove your photos from insta. Add a story that these guys are using AI to add your face on nude men. Send the account a fake FIR copy (or an original one if you want to file a complaint) saying you have filed a cyber complaint. -

TThis is common scam that idiots like you falls to. My friend was also caught in this mess. The scammer later contact via WhatsApp saying he got caught having sex online with a minor. The scammer posted like an IPS officer posted at cbi in Delhi,saying stuff like case will be registered if you don’t pay up..
Asked him to Blocked all number, blocked via WhatsApp and Facebook. And every no he was contacted. Advised him to make his fb profile private like friend list. So even they try to make the video viral, they won’t have his friend or family details to blackmail to
Eventually the scammer just gave up..

SSach me yaar. Ye log l*nd se sochte hai fir chudne ke baad dimaag chalta hai ki yar galat kiye. Muje yahan pe video call bhi uncomfortable lagta hai ekdum close friends ke saath bhi. Aur yahan launde apne nudes kisi fake id jo ladki hone ka pretend kar rahe hai usko bhej dete hai. Sahi me ye log hawas ke liye barbaad ho jayenge aise.

– You’ve filed complaints with cyber cell which is good
– Worse case, your nude videos will be shared to your social circle. Inform them that they might receive such things
– Some will laugh at you and some won’t. It’s the price you pay when you let the other head think instead of the one between your ears.
– Don’t keep worrying about what you cannot control nor avoid.
– Move on -

The person if they leak your video can face upto 4-7 years in prison. Tell them straight up if they’re ready to risk that for a mere payment of 10k rupees. Even if you’re scared of your nude getting leaked, don’t let them know. Tell him that you’re a guy, it won’t matter much to you, but if they leak it they’ll go to jail for sure.
Handle the situation with confidence and courage. And next time yeh sab karne se pahele hila lena pls 😂 -

UWell buddy. I was also victim of such scam. But this was on WhatsApp. They only had my phone number. They started blackmailing me that they had info of my family members and they will post it on face book. I am not really active on social media. Been inactive for years and it’s all Private. I just blocked them on WhatsApp and the phone calls as well. Problem solved. Actually I got call from another number. Kept blocking them. They couldn’t do much.

That account gave a request to some of my insta friends, but they contacted me first and blocked and reported that account! -
