Hi, I’ve received an offer letter from a UK-based company. The job is entirely in India. However, the offer letter states this:

This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with UK law. In relation to any legal action or proceedings arising out of or in connection with this
Agreement, you hereby irrevocably submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the
        United Kingdom.

Is this okay? I do not plan to work here permanently and it’s a contractual role. However, will there be any problems for me in case there are any issues after I begin working? Thanks in advance.

Typically it’s a standard contract. Did you ask them if they can change that clause to India for you ?
