Someone with exact same name as of me has case

My background verification is pending, and I am waiting to join my new organization. During the background check, my company found that someone with my name and a similar address has filed a case. I obtained the CRN for the case and checked it myself on eCourts. The public details didn’t mention anything. The person with my name has filed a case against someone else for a bounced check. I tried to get the details of the case, checked for the lawyer’s contact or the person’s contact on Facebook, but couldn’t find anything online. Please advise what I can do. There is no sign of the people online, as the town is pretty rural in India. The delayed verification is costing me money, as the joining is getting deferred.

The BGV company is foolish. they should verify with Aadhar number.
Secondly, companies are generally looking for criminal case. This looks like a civil. IDK I’m not a lawyer
