so this number called my brother who is a minor ki he got caught watching weird stuff on the internet – it was fake

this is the number: 91 8756400836

i called him to warn ki firs bhi ho sakta apke upar ye vo band kare bas
then he started threatening aap ladies ho ye vo utwa lenge – looks like he has a gang .

what should i do

Block the number and move on. You can take help from police.

Aise phone rob aate hai bhai.. 2-3 gali do aur block the number

i m going to subscribe this number for kotak mahindra and bajaj Allianz. this is more cruel then kidnapping /s.

please contact Police station and/or women helpline. give them this number. they will have a nice talk with them. hopefully this is vella person. else get a lawyer and escalate.

actually one can do. as our data is for sale. but this guy seems to dial ppl randomly hoping someone will fall for the fraud n pay. just check this number in Truecaller urself. ppl have posted comments. don’t entertain him n he will move on to find next victim. or report to police if u wish.

Even if they have your address, they are extremely unlikely to even think about coming physically.

Calling people from their safe private place and trying to scam people is super easy (& so many do that) and extremely less risky compared to physically visit someone’s home and kidnap.

Simply block those numbers and ignore any such text, they are most likely to have long list of potential victim to try on.

They’re… the police? They can get their address and location with just the phone number if an FIR is filed.

just checked on Truecaller. this is a spam/fraud number. block or report. nothing serious harm will come from this.
