February 16, 2025 at 5:33 pmHello guys, I wanted to get my startup idea reviewed and wanted to know if its practical to introduce blockchain based online notary system? I consulted a friend who is a lawyer but he didnt explain much and said that everyone needs to be at one place to sign it or its illegal. I wanted to have more detail about this so posting it here. Please let me know your thoughts, thanks in advance! -

February 16, 2025 at 5:48 pmADVOCATE HERE. Online notary would naturally be a great convenience but is indeed difficult to be executed, i.e., presence of parties. I’ll take the liberty to extend it even more: Online attestation by gazetted officers, again a domain where there is 0 development. Consider these and try to work around them.-

February 17, 2025 at 5:45 amIt’s already been used in many countries, including India. The link belowΒ gives an overview of places it has been used. While many solutions already exist, and has been around for nearly a decade now, there have been some minor improvements in India. IMO, progess is still too slow.Β-
