April 8, 2025 at 5:48 pmI need some advice on a tricky work situation. I recently resigned from my current job (private company) after getting selected for a better opportunity(govt job). I’m serving my notice period now, but my company is suddenly pushing me to relocate from Noida to Chennai due to “client demand.” Problem is, I’m not in a position to move—as i have to appear in further process of my next job.I’m worried it’ll mess up my clean exit—I need the relieving letter and NOC for my next gig. I’ve hinted they can release me early if they’re so keen on this, but no clear response yet. I haven’t told them about my new job since I don’t want any drama.
How to deal with this? I just want lwd letter from them. Appreciate any tips!

April 9, 2025 at 5:31 pmWhat is the future process for which you need to be in your current location.Technically, if you refuse to shift, company can terminate your service for refusal..
Since you have already put down your paper it won’t matter much..
You will get your exit papers in due time.
Just stay firm and refuse to shift. Be available virtually if need be.
