January 29, 2025 at 7:28 amHi, I’m not sure if this fits the sub, apologies in advance.I’m working on creating a moderately simple fabrication(construction) of a cycling machine. Now since this is somewhat a remote place, there’s just a single workshop which is equipped to do that.
Now I’ve been visiting the workshop for the 4th time, and there’s been some progress made after my second visit, but the foreman is kind of avoiding a conversation with me when I visit him ,for some unknown reason. I felt he wasn’t responding well initially too, but atleast there was some progress made. My last two visits have been unfruitful where he just makes me wait and then I eventually leave without getting any answers. I do feel a sense of discrimination given there are others who are coming to the workshop and getting things done without having to wait so much.
And the design is pretty simple for them to do it. Being an engineer, I have the design background and can help him understand better if he’s not getting a solution for any problem. But the conversation isn’t happening.
What can I do to get this moving? Please help as this activity of visiting the workshop and coming back without anything concrete is killing me. -
