March 6, 2025 at 7:09 pmI need your guidance regarding a financial matter. On February 2nd, a college friend borrowed money from me, promising to return it within 4-5 days. However, it has now been over a month, and he has switched off his phone and blocked me on Instagram, making all communication impossible.
Given this situation, I am considering taking legal action to recover my money. I would appreciate your advice on the best course of action. What legal steps can I take, and how should I proceed to file a complaint?
Your help would mean a lot. Looking forward to your response.

March 7, 2025 at 3:24 amLegally, you have the option to lodge a police complaint or file a civil suit to recover the money, but if the amount isnβt significant, it may not be worth the hassle.A more practical approach could be sending a legal notice through a lawyer, threatening further action, this might prompt him to repay. He might even ignore it but give it a try.
Also consider resolving the issue informally through mutual friends or family.
