March 22, 2025 at 12:15 amI subscribed to Tata Play’s ₹199 OTT plan mainly to watch shows on JioHotstar. At the time of purchase, I was allowed to select JioHotstar as one of the four platforms. But now, JioHotstar isn’t working, and when I checked their website, it only shows 3 OTT apps JioHotstar is missing.Tata Play is now offering me a replacement with another platform, but that’s not what I paid for. This is a clear case of false advertising and misleading customers. They lured users in with certain OTT options and then silently removed them after payment.
Should it be put in consumer court?
