Tata Play’s Misleading OTT Plan – Bait & Switch Scam

I subscribed to Tata Play’s ₹199 OTT plan mainly to watch shows on JioHotstar. At the time of purchase, I was allowed to select JioHotstar as one of the four platforms. But now, JioHotstar isn’t working, and when I checked their website, it only shows 3 OTT apps JioHotstar is missing.

Tata Play is now offering me a replacement with another platform, but that’s not what I paid for. This is a clear case of false advertising and misleading customers. They lured users in with certain OTT options and then silently removed them after payment.

Should it be put in consumer court?

Yes. works 80% of the time. worked for me for amazon multiple times
