Have a very enterprising tentant who is working full time and is trying to start a ed tech business as well , it’s only been 2 months since she is renting the apartment and she called today asking if I could provide an NoC for her to form her LLP on my address.

As she wants to apply for some government grants for the same.

What are my legal responsibilities if I do give the NOC ?

Fyi flats in pune and she is rentitng it with 2 other flat mates.

          NAL.

Can’t see anything good coming out of this.
          Do your cost-benefit analysis

Firstly lot of housing societies have their rules regarding running commercial activities out of residential spaces.
Secondly – what are the conditions of the Tenancy Agreement that you have signed with her (hope you have one). Normally the rent/lease agreements would mention such conditions.

Secondly – what happens in the eventuality that you need to evict the tenant? What happens if the LLP has legal issues and your property gets involved in the dispute since its the registered address?

Sure, of course – you can prove you have nothing to do with it but at what cost?

            I wouldn’t do it.

She can lease a legit office space, there are commercial buildings which allow this at as low as 5k per month rent.

Why are you even considering the thought I don’t understand.

Don’t. It can turn into a big mess. You’ll be responsible if a fraud happens.

There are many workspaces that allows GST registration on their premise and address space related services for a fee. You can ask her to use those.

She is just saving that co big bucks of opening an office in your property. No way you should allow that as it will cause legal issues for you in future.
