SIf a girl blackmails a guy like this, the guy’s life is pretty much over. Nothing he can do. Police will first laugh at him, insult him, and then send him away. Most likely they won’t even take his complaint. Your only way if at all is a private complaint through a lawyer, but be ready to have to prove each and every single details of the allegation with solid evidence. Otherwise you’re screwed.

UBy suggesting any blame on her you’re cutting slack to the criminal. She had no knowledge of being recorded and it’s not like she trusted him and consented to making intimate videos for his phone. She wasn’t aware the video was being taken at all and his actions are CRIMINAL. In this situation, by being cautious do you mean uncomfortably look around for cameras while in action or straight up ask him “hey do you have any hidden cameras here?” Do mention what she should have done practically, actionwise.

PAsk her to take screenshots of the blackmail. Tell him that if he doesn’t delete them, she’ll walk into his home and show all the blackmail and conversations to his parents, cousins and family. That should be enough to scare him. She should do this regardless once and for all to get closure on this video.

CGet them married then file all the marital cases. It’s easier to handle the mudder case than the marital case in India. Tell him exactly what you will do the next day of marriage, tell him if he tries to force her she will destroy his whole family.

CWell it’s not really an abuse in my eyes. For me laws are like a weapon made for protection. Think of it as showing a gun the chances are you don’t have to use it if you draw it, even if you fire the gun for protection it’s not abuse it’s actually self preservation. If you use it to law to harass someone or to break someone that’d abuse.

Laws are a meant for protection not to be used as weapons and women need protection in our society where men glorify sleeping with multiple women and 6000 INR jojes these laws are much needed

CIt’s made for protection but unfortunately mostly used for blackmailing and harassment. 90% false cases are putting doubts in the heart of people for real 10% cases.

Secondly, if you don’t wish to involve the police ask her to visit the police station and offer some money to a lady police officer and request to help her deal with the situation and then she’ll take care of it.
These are only two options left and if she is scared then hire a lawyer, pay him the amount and I am sure, he’ll be able to deal with it without much hassle.

Just let him do it.He also knows that his life will end if he leaks the video, so he would never dare to do this. UDon’t go by the shit, some people are suggesting here like go to hr and all, just go to the police station and explain the situation to some higher authority like inspector and he will handle it, for such matters they be extra cautious and even fir won’t be required, a hearing of that boy to police station is enough to teach him a lesson of life.
