Traffic ticket of 44K by angry cop. Please suggest

I was stopped by traffic police and he gave me 44k challan. He put the same challan on me for driving the car and same amount to owner for allowing me to drive during grap 4 in delhi. I want to contest it but could not get lok adalat date. What happes if I don’t pay the challan and it goes to the court? Will I still be able to get lok adalat date? Please help.

PS car is 2015 but manual still says BS2 which i never knew.

Tf 2015 can’t be bs2 I have 2011 car which is a bs4 reg vehicle.

Don’t panic just go to the local district court on national lok Adalat day and it will be settled at a very lesser amount.

My 60 day expiring at 2nd Feb and n3xt lok adalat is in march. Can I still go to lok adalat after 60 days expire? (I could not get the appointment in previous lok adalat)

You should wait. Even after 60 days the challan will be sent to court and then you’ll get notice/summons from court. Meanwhile lok Adalat will come and you can get it done then.
