        Hi,
I need legal advice on discontinuing college without paying the bond fee of 10 lakhs. I started pursuing my M.B.B.S degree back in 2018 and stopped going to college in 2020 since my family was unable to pay the fees due to financial turmoil. I joined my college under Telugu minority quota and my certificates are stuck with them for me to pursue another degree. Is there a loophole around not paying for the bond fee because the entire course of the degree I’m about to join is 1/10 of the bond fee. How can I pay for the bond and again join the college too. I’m stuck in a very tricky situation and i don’t know what to do. Before asking me to continue my MBBS degree there’s still 4 years left and the fees is way to high I can’t even get a education loan without collateral so that option is crossed out. Please let me know how I can steer around this bond fee. Thank you.

It wouldn’t be that easy since I’m already enrolled in a college joining another college is pretty sure not legal.

              Lawyer from Hyderabad
You can file a writ petition for the certificate. Because no one can hold your certificate even if the fee is not paid.

What about the Bond they made my parents and me sign when I joined the college. It was mentioned that i need to pay 10 lakhs if I am to discontinue the college.
