April 7, 2025 at 7:51 amI enrolled for aadhar using my birth certificate which had 2007 on it, now can I update my dob on aadhar for the first time with my 10th passing certificate which has 2005 on it. Will the conflicting dob on their database cause any issue? -

April 7, 2025 at 7:57 amAs per the official website of the aadhar card, DOB can be updated once in a lifetime. So be very careful while doing so. -

April 7, 2025 at 8:03 amYou need to get your papers sorted out.whichever year you were born in, you should use that. You can only change birthdate only once in your aadhar.
You can change the dob on your birth certificate by a single hearing in front of district judge.

OP
April 7, 2025 at 8:34 amThe thing is, at the time of enrollment, i used my birth certificate which had 2007 on it. Now I want to make it 2005 by using 10th certificate which has 2005 on it which is correct. Since it’s my first time changing my DOB on aadhar, so will they reject it because my dob on birth certificate is 2007. If yes then why even give the option of changing dob?
