I was booked under ipc 354, FIR was logged on me, and i was released with a notice, now after 19 days i got a call from police to come with Aadhar card saying they have filed a case on me.

We gave money to get released on that particular day, and they were saying its not a case. Now are they trying to extort more money from me ?

What are the possiblities ?
