Vacating rented home immediately without one month notice, is it legal?

I am actively looking to shift my home. If I get something good, I am trying to shift by the end of feb. But I haven’t informed my owner(we both speak the same language)

I paid 50k deposit and my rent is 24k.

So there is one month painting charge, and Feb’s rent in 24k. So owner will have 2k on his side, and obviously I will not be paying the electricity bill.

So not a big loss for me, but is it legally ok?

If the agreement is signed and it mentions this clearly then he can take you to police and court

Sort it out mutually..find him another tenant..or else give some reason which he can’t say no to..moving abroad.. family emergency..health issues something

This is in Bangalore, where owners are very money minded. I don’t think he will be ready to mutually sort. Ps( he is a Telugu guy, and me too) still he is very stubborn.

you won’t get deposit back in Bangalore doesn’t matter even if you inform one year before

Nobody is going to court over such a small issue. If you don’t want the deposit you can leave whenever you want.

No. I myself (my dad) rented a house out in hebbal.
We only take half a months rent for painting, cleaning and repairs.
