UI had deal with individual regarding plot of 20lakh for 116gaz. And they asked 25%(5lakh as token money). Plot was nice and near to my house so I got it for my convenience. And these individuals had to go abroad for 2-3 months. And in this period , big transformer has been installed and dangled right next to plot which make it look ugly and also dangerous. As I wanted it for my personal use and it is no longer my ideal plot. I want to back out of this deal. But my contract says that If i cancel deal my token money will be forfeited. Now I tried to sell off the plot to other people but value has decreased because of transformer and they overcharged anyways. And now token amount is very big for me. And I am not able to sell that plot. They refused to give anything back like its not our headache. Can somebody people help me if I can take legal action of misleading/ misinformation for not telling about transformer. And Can i get my token money back which is way too much. If It is was less mai chhod deta.

1. Try telling him 5 L mein se 50k rakh le for his troubles , 25 percent is not fair even legally , token amount can’t be unreasonable like in your case ,
2. If there was an informal agreement to sale mentioning token amount , then you can try the legal route which will time consuming and will include lawyers expense
3. You can try involve police but if you get some amount back it will be including their cut and some will go to seller
4. Involve some anti social elements, get this solved informally 😉
