UHello,
I am a 17y old kid for last 2-3days I was away from home for exams and due to that I didn’t know the situation at home..but when I returned I didn’t felt right..Dad would come home late and leave early, Mom would talk to dad from time to time throughout the day(which doesn’t happen normally)..I asked them multiple times but they just changed the topic or say everything is fine..but today when I asked my mom adding that “I’m grown enough for you to share things”..so she told me..
Apparently my father’s old colleague sent 1.5L rupees in his account(don’t know when).. and said to him that his bank account isn’t working so he sent then in his and he needs cash in few day..and well my father is an easy target he is quite gullible person..he didn’t suspect anything and withdrawed it from the bank and gave it to him…now a few days back the same person came accusing my father of stealing his money and is demanding compensation..he literally withheld my father’s vehicle in the middle of the road and started arguing with…at the end my father goes to the police station but..the proofs like bank statement and all are working against him..plus he cares about his reputation a lot and that’s the reason he isn’t even going to file a case since it would take too long and till then his name would be tarnished…and his work also require trust..if he losses his reputation and trust then it might affect his work..at the end right now he is negotiating with that person for lower ammount at the police station..
I know my mom told me without any expectations but I want to help them but I’m lost I don’t know enough to help them..tho I will try to convince my father to fight in the court but I don’t know if it will work.. please any advice would be helpful..
