We can lose our house

So my family has built our house on land which is on lease from one of India’s Port trusts. We haven’t paid the monthly rent since 1984 and everytime the officers came we used to bribe them and get away easily but things have changed now. The port trust recently sealed a petrol pump beside our house(it owned by one of my family members- my grandfather’s elder brother’s family) now my family is worried because we don’t really know any way out to prevent our house from getting sealed and before the port trust issues an eviction notice my family wants to get a way to atleast get 2 years more in our house. Can we continue to live in the house if we somehow get a stay order for our house? Please suggest a way out… my father and my grandpa are very honest men( we have always paid the rent of our factory but the house area has been unequally split between my grandpa’s family and his elder brother’s).

Yes. You can continue to stay if you get stay order.

Just approach court and get stay order. Once you get stay order, pay small bribe too port people. You are good
