Hookup with someone you know from long time or leave enough evidence to show that the hookup was consensual. Like if you are getting in a hotel, ensure you both are visibly captured in reception CCTV that will prove that you both checked in with an agreement to be together for that given period of time.

Consent can be withdrawn even in the middle of the act, even if the booking is under her name.
To answer OP, I think dropping a text to her after along the lines of “Hey, i had a lovely time. I hope you did too” should be fine. In other words, being a normal, decent human should cover all bases.

Women can withdraw consent even after the act to screw you if she wants. Better avoid hookups because in initial stages IO will disregard your evidence, prepare a chargesheet and session court will convict you most probably (they are not accused friendly). Expect justice from HC that too after 1.5 years atleast.

In simple words there are no such laws for hookup. For live-in relationship without tying the knot is not a criminal offence or illegal.

You will always be at a disadvantage whatsoever evidence you collect. I see many comments here which are quite misleading. Simply having a cctv footage doesn’t prove consent, the girl can always claim she was under apprehension of fear and hence followed through. There is no consent, even if you make her record in mobile then also multiple loopholes exist.

If you wanna really hookup then do it but it’s a gamble.
