“Press charges” yeah, more like file a criminal complaint, the trouble is when case comes for hearing, and your deposition comes up, you will have to take leave, go to court, while the defence advocate ask lousy question, frustrating you! Yeah you can press charges.

Best thing to do is, not be in situation where your personal property can be destroyed, and if it does, recover using insurance, or threat of legal prosecution… but in the unlikely event, the other party doesn’t budge, then you prosecute!
