May 5, 2025 at 6:05 amI am a l4th year aw student and I am If you are interested in pursuing judiciary, I want to have a very accurate picture of how it is to be a judge in India. I am not sure if this is the right subreddit to ask.(By the way, please feel free to tell me what other subreddits I can ask this question in). I want to know what judges do while they are not on the bench, signing motions or hearing cases. Because that is just like half of their work hours. -

May 5, 2025 at 9:01 amWho told you this is half of their work hours? They work in their office until 7-8pm or more, after court hours, and wake up at like 3-4am to read files. And have a lot more to handle than what meets the eye. Not sure how they handle it all.
