BPersonally didn’t face any bone chilling incidents or handled it.
But I have witnessed many in court halls and PS.One guy raped and killed a minor girl. His father told the entire law enforcement he will get his son out. He got bail for his son. In few days, his son killed his wife too(his mother). When he was brought to court, he was beyond human. Remorseless. Psychopath.
And many like this.

AEven I heard about this case too. The guy was heavily addicted to weed or something. Use to steal bike from their apartments and get caught. Another perspective of the case was that he kidnapped the girl to get some ransom from their parents. But unfortunately while covering her, she passed away. Once out on bail, she tortured her mother for money and killed her during it…

UYup one of the defendant told me in confidence that his kinderjoy came empty without any toy , even the jude was flabbergasted upon hearing this as a result he gave the award in favour of defendant and personally gave him extra 50 rs .

UI don’t work in the legal field and these stories aren’t directly from the criminals, but I have heard my share of crazy stuff, mostly about rapes, DV, killings (political and personal), outside of courts.
Just enough to make you realise that how messed up stuff really is.

MI saw the nirbhaya documentary. After what they did to her, tear her inside out I couldn’t believe they could justify anything.
It’s unbelievable!

ULawyer here. Have had many spine chilling and strange incidents in court.
Tl;Dr: ex IPS officer killed his son in law inside courtroom for continuous r*pe of his daughter.
One of the recent incidents was a shooting in our courthouse where a retired IPS killed an IRS who was his son in law.
The whole story was that after getting married the IRS officer had done sick sadistic and unnatural things to the daughter of the retired IPS. Imagine everything you find in the worst type of p*rn kinda sick and double it. The girl endured for sometime but then ran away to her father and told him everything. The father who is a widower told her to get a divorce but the son in law didnt agree and dragged the case for a really long time. The father went to each court hearing with his daughter and witnessed the subtle but obvious jabs the son in law took at his daughter about everything he had done to her. One time the guy said, “you have no chance with another guy after everything i have done to loosen you up.” He was clearly enjoying torturing his wife and father in law.
Cut to the d-day when the father came in to court early. Since he was ex IPS, he wasnt stopped for checking and went to the family court. He saw the son in law a few mins later with his lawyer and took his stand inside the court keeping his pistol hidden but ready. As soon as the son in law entered, he waited and went up to him to ask for the way to the washroom. As he asked to be shown the way, he got close to his son in law and opened fire. The son in law died on the spot. When questioned the father said,” I have sold everything and given all my money to my daughter who has left India. I dont have anything or anyone to live for except my daughter and cant see her suffer while this wretched man is happy and stays alive. I will happily live out the rest of my life in jail if it means my daughter is safe.”Now here is another thing: the father before retiring had been charged with extortion and corruption. He was suspended but later on retired. Source of all info is the police personnel and the lawyers there.
I had left the court an hour before the incident.
There are many many more stories and all are cruel in their own ways.

I have so many experiences like this, but I usually don’t share them publicly for the sake of others’ sanity. However, here’s one recent case I’m dealing with.
There is a very influential local politician, along with his gang, who attacked another influential person in public. They mercilessly beat him to death using iron rods, stones, sticks, and other objects. They kept beating him even after he was already dead, all in front of a large crowd. The accused were arrested immediately, and I’m representing one of them—a 16-year-old boy. His parents begged me to take on his case.
When I met with the boy in jail, he casually described what he had done, almost bragging about it, and even asked me if I had seen the video, He even joked about it and how the video must have been viral as if it were some kind of achievement, he was proud of himself.

UNot in legal field or lawyer, police officer or judge but yesterday i saw a reel on YouTube.
A reporter along with cameraman was interviewing criminals in court and he saw a guy standing confident so he interview him and ask for what crime he’s in jail.
Criminal – murder.
Reporter- whom do you murder
Criminal- my wife.
Reporter-why?????
Criminal- she had an affair before marriage, even after marriage she continue meeting that guy, one day i caught them and told her to leave, she refuse put fake cases on me and demanded 49 lacs for divorce so I killed her.

UThey killed his friend, childhood best friend they grew up with after he asked his 50k which he loaned for their business.. they smashed his head after getting him drunk nd then went away to live like nothing even happened and even partied later all along while telling his new wife that they will search for him… I had to sleep and live beside them for 5 days…. !

Uonce i saw a criminal driving and hitting bike rider and said “roz ka kaam hai humara ye to” maybe not most disturbing but it was recorded on camera and yes it was horrifying for someone whose family members ride two wheelers daily.
