Is a section 65B certificate just a self certification?

Looking at submitting some proof over WhatsApp, no idea on how to ensure its legal

Now the provision got changed into a new section; it is 63 B of Bharatiya Sakshya Adhiniyam.

Self certification is enough for the WhatsApp screenshot. Where you need to mention the IMEI number of the said phone from which you have taken screenshot, you should also keep the contact number of the person visible in WhatsApp chat..
