I was at a dark spot with my date and I saw the police bike coming from far away. Since we were making out(pda), I stopped both of us and decided to start my bike. Just as I started the bike, the police told us to stop and caught the bike by the rear handle, which made it slip entirely and we crashed. Both of us were hurt by it and they started blaming me for it. Then began the moral policing by both of them. They were saying that what we were doing(pda) was wrong, and that we shouldn’t have tried to run away from them. They insisted to take this matter to the court, took my aadhar card and my bike key. One of them was checking my bag and then suddenly threw it towards me(I was standing at a distance) out of nowhere. The metal bottle that I was carrying in my bag hit me at the top of my nose and it started hurting like hell. Then he took a look at me and said it was nothing(coz I was not bleeding out). And then he hit me on the back for what I was doing. Worried about my date, and to not let this scenario reach out to my parents(because we are college students), I just decided to go through it and did not complain. Then I negotiated towards the point where they took a two thousand rupees fine.
Now I have a few legal questions:
        1. Where exactly did I go wrong legally? Is PDA illegal? Especially considering that we stopped the moment I saw them at a distance?(they could definitely not see anything since we were at a dark alley). We are also both 18 so no issues about anyone being a minor.
        2. Did the policeman really have any stance on hitting me on the back with a punch in any legal manner?
        3. Did he really had to throw the bag at me with such force?
        4. Were those two thousand rupees a bribe?

Listen don’t go to dark spots.

There are multiple cases where they beat guy and Rp girl.

Just book hotel for couple of hours

You are lucky. They were cops. Had they been anti social elements, your gf would have been in news.

                    1. Yes, making out in public is illegal. You can hold hands but making out can be considered obscenity. If you’re confused about whether something of that sort is permissible just think “Would we do it in front of a child?”

                    2. No, hitting you wasn’t really legal.

                    3. Irrelevant

                    4. Did they give you any sort of receipt? If not then it was surely a bribe. You paid for their booze lol.

                    5. Jab 2k the to hotel jana tha na. You put your girl and your own life in danger. Those cops most likely patrol that area to find people like you.
