February 22, 2025 at 5:08 pmYou have to wait for them to come out of hiding and then file a case against them in court.India no longer has the zamindar-system where loans taken by one family member gives every member of the family liability. In fact, if you threaten someone’s parents you will likely find yourself in jail for harassing senior citizens.

February 22, 2025 at 5:09 pmADVOCATE HERE. As long as person remains alive but not traceable, the said person will be liable to make payment. However, if the person remains missing and beyond reach of family for 7 years, he will be declared dead by concerned Court upon pleadings, and once declared dead, his legal heirs will be made liable for payment.
