I filed a consumer case on MNC which I won after 2 years, got very less compensation due to my lawyer not attending hearings ( what my new lawyer said ) other wise I would’ve got better compensation.

Now judgement is out and I got call from company for required documents, which I provided them. Now company has gone silent and even the lawyer who called me from company is not answering my calls or responding to my messages.

I informed the same to my lawyer and he told me we can only wait now.

I don’t understand what’s the point here of filing case, winning it, if company can just show middle finger to courts judgement and customer ?

Can any lawyer here tell me what to do next ?

Your best option would be to file an execution petition in the same forum along with all the documents, include the judgement copy too.
Iโ€™m sure your new lawyer will agree to it and send a legal notice to the same company for non compliance of courts order.

Hi. Iโ€™m a lawyer here. Ideally, you should be filing an execution petition, but if the opposite party has been directed to comply with certain directions within a specific time frame, then youโ€™ll have to wait that longer atleast, prior to taking any action.

File a sec 27A CPA application. Keep order 21 cpc in mind.

File a caveat as well in the higher court if any appeal is filed by them

File an execution petition and also a complaint to the CPA requesting bankruptcy proceedings.
