April 15, 2025 at 9:56 pmHi all, can I please get some advice on my current situation? i purchased 3 items in January 2025 and kept one item. A return request was placed with Zara for two items:
– Black Leather Jacket (REF. 3322/040) β Valued at Rs. 23,950
-Dress (REF. 2492/154) β Valued at Rs. 2,770
-An amount of Rs. 100 was paid to Zara for the return pickup service through their app.
– Both items were picked up by Zaraβs designated courier partner.
– I have video evidence clearly showing that both items were counted and handed over to the courier partner at the time of pickup, which has already been shared with the Zara team 3 times.
– Despite the successful pickup of both items, I have received a refund only for the dress (Rs. 2,770).
– The refund for the Black Leather Jacket (Rs. 23,950) has been denied claiming that they never received the items in the warehouse.Consumer Court:
I have filed a complaint in the consumer court and Zara has closed it saying that it’s been resolved.Next Steps:
As you can imagine, I am pissed! But also, I need some logical, sensible advice from you experts, please. Can I get some advice on what legal recourse I have? Is it worth pursuing this further in court? If I get a lawyer, what kind of specialisation should I seek? I would really really appreciate any thoughts and recommendations. I am based in Delhi/Noida. Thank you so much. -
