April 7, 2025 at 9:18 amI’m sure he’s not a real police officer they’re just messing with you. They probably want to scam you out of 500₹. Don’t send a single penny. If they call again, tell them to send you a legal notice if they want you to appear in another city.April 7, 2025 at 9:10 am in reply to: Police is asking me to come to station of a different city #19670MMegaeagle7142

April 7, 2025 at 8:58 amAsk the police officer politely for a copy of the FIR or complaint. An official notice under CrPC 41A, if any.
Their full name, badge number, and station address.April 7, 2025 at 8:56 am in reply to: Police is asking me to come to station of a different city #19647MMegaeagle7142

April 7, 2025 at 8:56 amThey can’t force you to come without a proper legal notice. Ask them to send official notice (CrPC 41A) if there’s a real case. It might just be a scare tactic stay calm.MMegaeagle7142

April 7, 2025 at 2:29 amSince the land belonged to your grandfather and there’s no will or paperwork giving it to you, it legally belongs to all his children (your parents and their siblings). So, the other heirs do have a legal right to claim their share. Even though you’ve been running the cafe for 15–16 years, unless you can prove the land was gifted or sold to you, the law likely won’t let you keep all of it just based on use. Your best chance is to try to settle the matter within the family, offer to buy out their share or give compensation or try to legally claim the part your cafe sits on, especially if you’ve improved it and they never objected.April 6, 2025 at 5:29 pm in reply to: Can my PG in Hyderabad legally evict me with only 2 days’ notice despite prior agreement? #19986MMegaeagle7142

April 6, 2025 at 5:29 pmIf you had a verbal or written agreement (even over WhatsApp or SMS) about vacating on 23rd April, then they can’t suddenly cut that short without valid reason or mutual consent. Even if there’s no formal rental agreement, the basic principles of tenancy law still apply. You are a licensee (common in PGs), and even then, a reasonable notice period (typically 15 to 30 days) is expected for eviction unless you’ve breached serious rules.April 6, 2025 at 1:45 pm in reply to: Can we retrieve call recording with the help of cyber cell ? #20021MMegaeagle7142
