You can only send a legal notice to him with a time limit, but he can ignore it as your transaction was not legally binding. His father or friend will side with him resulting in no witnesses.

              Should be a registered property
Have a clear title holder, whether govt or individual
              Must conduct a background check
Shouldn’t be disputed or any under legal obligation.
For investment purposes, you can check the area or any development taking place in future, which can increase the value of land.

Look first of all, they won’t do anything because it would cost much more for a legal notice than the amount they have asked. You need to be relaxed. Nothing will happen, and you have strong point to defend yourself, that video and this time gap are considerable enough to prove your point. Just chill and live your life. If they still harrass you, file a complaint in nearby police station.

What is the day gap between you returning the vehicle and getting the call from their end.

You can ask for free legal aid lawyers from the respective bar association in your particular district court. But I wouldn’t suggest them as they aren’t highly skilled and they won’t take matters seriously. Still if you can manage any financial help, it will be great.

See, when the legal proceedings would be conducting, you and your mom should live separately from your dad and it will take time to get favourable order from court. So for that time you have to live somewhere else, maybe at your maternal relatives home. After which some remedy shall be granted by the court including maintenance or allowance and compensation or the plots.
Just remember every claim by your side in the court should be proved by your lawyer. Any negligible fact would result in unfavorable order.

If those plots are not ancestral property and self earned by your dad and registered in his name, then only you can claim them.

Hi there, I understand your situation and what you and your mom are going through.
the only valid ground for divorce in your case would be cruelty.
Yes it is possible to get alimony for your mom to maintain her daily life.
Other than that simultaneous case for dowry can be filed.
If you are a female then you can also get maintenance till your marriage.
Other than that, you should contact a divorce specialist in your district court.
If you are residing in Delhi, I would be happy to assist you in person.
