If you need it urgently then wait till then cancel your request for police verification and apply for a tatkal passport you’ll get it in 2 days (my dad did)

Yea whatever address you have on your aadhar is your home address and you need to keep updating it if you’re moving for jobs or shifting,OP you have to redo the entire process again just remember aadhar is the basic and the most accepted form of proof of identity.

Check your cibil history it’ll be mentioned there if it’s a new one it takes 45-60 days for them to update it

It’s totally legal even with their high prices as they are still in circulation ( they don’t know if it is or not) just like old notes , just in this case they are in circulation and it’s ande by RBI and original so yes legal.
