It will all take some time and effort. But if you’re determined, go ahead. But do know that you should never be ashamed of a name. It’s just a name. I know a guy with a cuss word for surname and he does not let it bother him in anyway even though people make fun of him behind his back.

Ah. If so, the associates names would be on the vakalathnama and they’ll take over or clients might’ve taken an NOC from them and engaged a different advocate.

Did your father have any law partners or associates?

If the matters were taken over by someone else, just let it be. If not, just inform the clients in that matter of your father’s passing.

That’s the cases that’s listed for the next working day. The cases must’ve been taken over by some other Advocate right? It’s sent to all advocates whose names are in the Vakalatnamka. You’re receiving it because your fathers name was on the Vakalathnama. It’ll be sent as long as the matter is ongoing in court.

In Kerala you have to upload an undertaking with your AIBE details. Could be something like that in Delhi

If they fire you for being pregnant, they’ll be violating your fundamental right to equality enshrined in the Constitution. If they terminate your employment during your maternity leave, they have to provide you with the benefits you are entitled to during that leave.

Lawyer here. Your Lawyer is supposed to draft the reply not you. Making you draft the reply will turn out to be a disaster. Get another good lawyer instead of that scammer.

You can do an LLB as long as you have an undergraduate degree. Many universities provide the 3 year LLB.

But it’s not like you can expect to earn much. I’d say for the first 5-10 years of your practice it’ll be that you’ll earn much less than people in other fields. You usually start getting good revenue when you establish a small practice on your own.

Ah yes. Public prosecutors, government pleaders, etc are paid very low here compared to advocates who take on clients. There’s various selections for the government side as well and not worth it in my opinion.

Lawyer here. Not always true. The thing is you can reach the top even without a godfather. A lot of it depends on how good you are and the effort you put in. The advantage of having a godfather is that you will be more comfortable and make it big sooner. Also what do you mean by government law?
