  In October, broker of a recruitment agency took an advance of ₹20,000 from me, promising that I would secure a job within the same month. However, by December, after three months of waiting without any progress, I confronted him, leading to a heated argument. In January, I requested a refund, and he assured me that I would receive it within 15 days. Now, more than a month has passed, and he is neither answering my calls nor returning my money, essentially wasting my time.
  I then consulted the agency he work for they said they have no knowledge of it.. and why I gave him money
  What should I do , should I send legal notice to the company or him or both ..?

  He probably used the company’s name to scam you.

      UPI is linked to a bank account. Check your bank account statement and you can find the IFSC code of his bank branch.

  Approach your nearest police station with your case and see what can be done. Before going to the police go to a nearby lawyer and get his/ her openion. Wear shabby clothes so that it gives the impression that you are poor.
