May 3, 2025 at 6:15 pmI’m 25 years old, currently working in the IT sector, and I’m moving abroad for at least a year.
I’ve always wanted to study law and eventually become a practicing lawyer in India.
Since I won’t be able to attend a regular college for now, I’m wondering:>-Can I start with any **online/distance legal courses** now, just to get started with the basics?(open for suggestions)
>-Will these courses **count** toward an LLB degree or **help** in any way when I return and join a proper BCI-approved law college?
>-Are there any **part-time/evening/weekend LLB programs** available once I’m back — that are recognized by the Bar Council of India?
The goal is to eventually practice in court, so I want to be sure I take the right steps.
If anyone has taken a similar path — started with online courses while working/traveling and then moved to a full-time LLB — I’d really appreciate your guidance.
Thanks in advance.
